Member Achievements
NNA members are making headway in nursing to improve the understanding, standards and availability of therapies.

  • NNA Chairman Albert Acheamfour has delivered presentations on haemodialysis at the EDTNA/ERCA 2016 International conference in Valencia, Spain and EDTNA in Kent, U.K.
Member Benefits
The NNA aim to promote Educational, Emotional, Financial, Social and Professional support to members of NNA.
 
a) Educational:- Through mentoring, project management and teaching sessions of regular health related topics, in order to be well equipped to deliver effectively to our communities.
b) Emotional: - Regular contacts amongst members to support each other in diverse ways based on members’ specific needs.
c) Financial: - Support for members at life changing events as defined and agreed by members.
d) Social: - Promote social and formal interaction through regular gatherings i.e. BBQ’s, Picnics, Christmas, Outings and Achievements.
Becoming a Member
If you are thinking about joining the NNA please note that our members are expected to abide by our constitution which entails regular attendance to our quarterly meetings and being a registered nurse in the UK.
Also members are expected to treat members of the organisation with respect and dignity; contribute towards the organisation through membership fees; support each other and are entitled to support as defined by our benefits system.
If you would like to apply to become a member of the NNA, please use the link below to download the application form, complete the form and bring it to one of our general meetings. An executive member will be ready to explain to you the detail of  our constitution and other rules and regulations. You may then proceed to sign a declaration to become a member.
